A loan helped to buy more stock for the shop and also to service his motorcycle.

Victor's story

Victor is 34 years old, married to Scalet, and they are blessed with one child who is seven years old. He is running a general store and motorcycle transport. He has been in the business for four years and earns an average income of KES 35,000 per month.

He has applied for the first loan from Vision Fund Kenya to enable him to restock the shop. He will use the loan to purchase exercise books, pens in wholesale, sanitary towels, milk, bread, and snacks. This will increase his sales and thus increase the profits. He will use the anticipated profits to restock the shop and also repay his loan on time.

In the near future he plans to add three other motorcycles because it is a business that pays very well since most people use the motorcycles as a means of transport. This will help him establish the business.

This loan is special because:

It provides financial services and education in deep rural areas.
