Acucilia's story

Acucilia is a female, aged 53 years, residing in Harare, Zimbabwe. She stays with her husband and three children, two in tertiary college, and one in secondary school. She runs a canteen business where she sells sadza, beef, pork,and chicken, a business she has been running for almost three years now. She has requested a loan from Microhub for her to purchase additional stocks of miealie meal, beef, and pork, as she has been recording increased business which is more than her present capital levels. Income from this business will help her pay for her children's college and secondary school fees, and general family upkeep, as her husband was retrenched and is out of employment. Hence, this business is the family's only source of income.
