Laban Mburu's story

Laban Mburu M. sells bananas with two employees out of a stall in the Mombasa market. He has been in this business for the last six years, and manages the challenges of getting a good supply of bananas and strong competition from other grocery stores. He would use a loan of KES80,000 to add to his stock of bananas. Laban is married and has four children. He describes himself as hardworking and dedicated to his work. He dreams of educating his children and providing comfortably for his family.
