Bushra's story

Bushra is a women entrepreneur struggling to bring prosperity to her family. She is 47 years old and lives in a small house with six family members. She is a skilled woman and has adopted cloth stitching as her source of livelihood. She has around 10 years of experience in cloth designing and stitching.

She works at her home and provides tailoring services to the women of her community. Her stitching quality has earned her good fame within a few years of services. She is very eager and wants to promote her business with the passage of time.

At the moment she is lacking finances to purchase raw material including cloth, colorful threads, needles, buttons and laces for cloth stitching. She therefore has requested a loan from JWS Pakistan, field partner of Kiva to finance the raw materials for her business.
