Evans's story

Evans is a bread distributer and retailer who lives and works in the Mukuru slum of Nairobi. Evans is 30 years old and supports his parents and brother through his business. He has been in this business for seven years and has requested a loan of Ksh. 20,000 in order to add stock and offer his customers a greater variety of products. Evans has struggled with a lack of access to capital in the past and is, therefore, happy to receive his first loan. In the future, Evans would like to diversify his business to own and rent out homes. He describes himself as friendly and hard-working.
