Fatmata's story

Meet 49-year-old Fatmata from Goderich branch. She is married with two children. Both of her children are currently attending school.

Fatmata runs a retail business and sells milk, sugar, Ovaltine, tea leaves, sardines, luncheon meat, paste, brushes, mayonnaise, ketchup, baby food, soft and alcoholic drinks, toilet rolls, tissues, toilet cleaner and other items.

She has been in this business for the past 10 years now and works 10 hours per day and 6 days a week.

Her other source of income is from her husband.

Fatmata requested this loan from BRAC to purchase more milk, sugar, Ovaltine, tea leaves, sardines, luncheon meat, paste, brushes, mayonnaise, ketchup, baby food, soft and alcoholic drinks, toilet rolls, tissue, toilet cleaner and other items.
