A loan helped to buy 3 dairy cows to increase sales of organic milk and livestock headcount.

Turarkan's story

Turarkan is 35 years old, married and has 2 daughters. Turarkan has secondary education. As the main source of income for her family, she practices animal husbandry. Having started in 2013, thanks to her hard work and the help of her husband, Turarkan's farm currently has 6 cows and 90 sheep. Turarkan has an arrangement with a local factory, delivering organic milk for further processing into dairy products. This allows Turarkan to continually invest in her agricultural business. Through Bai Tushum bank, Turarkan can get a loan under the security of her contract for future deliveries, within the product "Chain of value added". Having discovered this, Turarkan has turned to the bank for a loan in the amount of 150,000 som (KGS) to purchase 3 dairy cows in order to increase sales of milk as well as livestock headcount. The payments from the factory for the milk will be transferred directly to Turarkan's bank account, while loan payments will automatically be deducted. The profits from the loan will help Turarkan in the further development of her farm, and in improving her family's financial well-being.
