A loan helped a member to purchase fertilizer and insecticide for her cashew farm.


Sokna Group's story

Sokna, 42, appears on the right in the photo. She is a married mother of three worker children, living in a village in Kampong Cham province of Cambodia. She is a farmer and has been operating in the cashew and cassava farm with her husband together to makes profits for the past 17 years, typically making around $12 US per day.

In order to boost her crop yields, she is now leading the group of three members to ask for a loan with KREDIT. Sokna would like to use her share of the loan to purchase fertilizer and insecticide for her cashew farm.
