What is the mission of your organization?

The PHDC is a community development corporation with no geographic boundaries, focusing on racial equity in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. We are dedicated to improving the lives of Hispanics in the region, increasing the Hispanic population, supporting existing and new Hispanic businesses, and increasing Hispanic investment in the region.

Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

We will meet with candidates, understand their business goals. We will visit the business location to ensure legitime operations. We will conduct a quick assessment review of short terms goals. I will contact two references provided about the business. We will ask candidates to join our organization at no cost so that we are able to establish a commitment relationship. Our organization can also facilitate communications between Spanish and English ias needed during the due dilligence evaluation process.
