We loan because...
Microfinance is the practice of improving the quality of life for entire communities starting at the micro level — the individual. When the financial needs of these underprivileged individuals are met, society only serves to benefit from the gradual elimination of poverty. The University of Kentucky Microfinance Club believes the student body and the Central Kentucky community can play a vital role in this mission.

About us
Linking the efforts of students, faculty, staff, and administration, the University of Kentucky Microfinance Club continually strives for the global elimination of poverty.
