We loan because...
UbuntuBit Foundation aims to leverage Bitcoin as a reserve asset to fund microfinancing in Africa through Kiva.

About us
We accept donations in Bitcoin and receive interest on our Bitcoin reserves. We never sell Bitcoin and only use the interest we earn to fund our humanitarian work. By keeping Bitcoin in reserves as it's value increases er are able to make a bigger impact over the long term. We also support the Bitcoin ecosystem by acting as a holder of last resort.
