Kiva Lending Team: The Indian Diaspora
We loan because...
The Indian Diaspora is a term used to describe people who migrated from India and their descendants. Many were assisted by small loans which provided them with the opportunity to relocate to new countries where they prospered and were able to provide a good life for themselves, their families, and descendants. We give because we have experienced first-hand or maybe second- or third-hand from our parents and grandparents what a large impact a small loan can make in our lives.
Everyone is welcome. The team was started by friends around the world whose families moved from their home country with the help of a small loan in order to attain higher education and better lives for themselves and their families.
