This team was started by the students in the class, Sociology of Globalization, after learning about Kiva and micro-financing. The class made an initial donation of $25. The team was then passed on to the Stonehill College Activism Club in hopes they will continue to work with Kiva in the future.

Jane received a loan from Kate to buy different varieties of cereals from local farmers to sell to her customers and at the local market.
