We loan because...
we're getting married in October 2013 and, since we're blessed with bursting cupboards and closets in our home already, we thought we'd offer a charity registry as an alternative to our traditional registries. Kiva is a great organization -- your loaned funds work to help entrepreneurs around the world, who will then repay your loan, which can then be put towards another person. Pretty cool, right? Sort of like me and Adam's love for each other (I can hear your groans from here:)).

About us
To make a team loan, first click the "join" button on the right, then (if you're not already a member) sign up to be a member of Kiva. Then you might check out the link to "loans" listed above to see where the team has loaned so far, or by clicking the "lend" tab at the very top you can browse to find the entrepreneur whose venture speaks to you. Or, if you prefer, give a Kiva gift certificate (available under "kiva gifts" up top), and Adam and I will be thrilled to select an entrepreneur on your behalf.
