We loan because...
We believe that innovation and knowledge can be used to improve everyone's well-being. We encourage Kiva to do obtain research on whether microloans (and which type of microloans) help recipients. Ideally, such research would be in the form of randomized controlled trials.

About us
This team is open to anyone who believes in science or wants to encourage Kiva to obtain better research on whether microloans help the recipients and which types of microloans help recipients. Kiva could do such research itself or partner with others to do the research. Kiva should provide better information to allow lenders to allocate money to the most beneficial loans and avoid loans that could leave recipients in a worse position.
