Kiva Lending Team: Microfinance Society (Singapore)
We loan because...
We are the Microfinance society of Singapore, and we want to loan to borrowers in Asia.
The Microfinance Society (Singapore) was officially set up on 29 September
2009 in Singapore. Our mission is to connect, educate and engage people in
the field of microfinance by creating a forum for innovation and
collaboration, thereby reducing global poverty. We strive to bring people
together who are interested in learning about microfinance, micro-credit,
and related finance, economic, and development topics.
Our objectives are - to provide opportunities to learn about microfinance by
broadening outreach and deepening knowledge, to create connections/contacts
between individuals interested in microfinance, to better share microfinance
information and related opportunities and help individuals involved in
microfinance-related projects, to support MFI-initiatives.
