We loan because...
We are getting married on 19th April and we believe that you don't just hand someone a fish, but you give them the capability to fish for themselves. Instead of a one time donation, Kiva gives us the opportunity to help people from all over the world by loaning out money, then taking this same money again and loaning it out to others. It is truly a positive cycle of giving.

To make a team loan, first click the "Join Team" button on the right, then sign up to be a member of Kiva, if you aren't already a member (if you are, just sign in as you normally would). Then check out the link to "Loans" listed above to see where the team has loaned so far, or by clicking the "Lend" tab at the very top you can browse to find the loan that you would like to support - you can also search by country, entrepreneur or loan category. Or, if you prefer, give a Kiva gift card by clicking on "Gifts" in the top right corner, and we will be happy to select a loan on your behalf.

About us
We hope to encourage our family and friends to open up a Kiva account, join our team, and begin a lifelong relationship with Kiva.. the same way that we are entering a new chapter of our lives as a married couple.
