Kiva Lending Team: Hope College Mortar Board
We loan because...
We are devoted to working not only on our campus and in our community, but also to our global community. We believe in promoting equal opportunities among all people, and loaning through Kiva enables us to act on those beliefs.
Mortar Board as a national organization was established in 1918 as an honor society for outstanding college seniors, selecting members as those persons who have demonstrated scholarship, leadership and service.
Hope College's Alcor Chapter was founded in 1961, and we are a group of around 40 college seniors. Our campus group was founded in 1961 and has been recognized for excellence each of the past five years. In 2010, we won multiple honors including recognition as the top chapter in the United States!
This Kiva lending team consists of both current Alcor Chapter members as well as our alumni.
