We loan because...
Women, no matter where they live, will usually fight to ensure that their children have food to eat and a roof over their heads. If they have the ambition, they deserve our support. All women should have the means to feed their children and to provide them with basic necessities. This is not a hand-out but an opportunity to empower women to be self-sufficient!

Update: While watching a movie called "Half the Sky" I wrote down a couple of quotes that really spoke to me and align with my goal of being part of the solution that helps women world-wide become independent, confident and self-sufficient:

"If you cast your eyes around the world there is no group that needs to be empowered more than women and girls." - Hillary Rodham Clinton

"Girls and women aged 15-44 are more likely to be killed or maimed at the hands of men then die from cancer, malaria and war combined."

"Women are not the problem, they're the solution!"

"You educate the girl and she can change the world around her."

About us
I am hoping that girlfirends, co-workers, former schoolmates and relatives will share my passion to provide women around the world the opportunity to be self-sufficient and successful; particularly those that are widowed, divorced or abandoned and trying to raise children on their own in countries and cultures that inherently provide them few opportunities.
