We loan because...
Our mission is making the world more productive and saving people time. Most charities focus around temporarily helping people in a way that not only isn't sustainable, but also leaves people in a worse place than where they started. We believe helping people is about making them self-sustainable, so they can create and contribute to the world. The majority of the world doesn't have access to resources to start businesses or get jobs, with Kiva, we give them that opportunity.
