Kiva Lending Team: Buffalo NY Helps
We loan because...
We are Buffalo, we believe in helping out (not only when someone's stuck in the snow), because the more we help, the more we can enjoy ourselves later. Buffalo isn't America's richest city, far from it, we are one of the more depressed, poorer, segregated cities in our fair country. But even with that, we recognize the world is bigger than our small city. So lend to those who need it, and enjoy the thought of helping over a beer at your favorite bar that much more later.
About us
We come from a blue collar town, thats well educated, but offer less opputunity than the rest of the country. We care deeply about our friendships, our families, our local culture and local sports. We generally love cold beer, football and hockey, and chicken wings.
