Kiva Lending Team: Bread and Roses
We loan because...
"Bread and Roses" was a slogan used by activists in the early 20th century who believed that workers deserved more than just a bare-bones existence. This group is a place for every kind of loan, but we focus on loans to businesses that provide people with the amenities of life - flowers, spices, perfumes, incense, houseplants, decorations, sweets, beauty treatments, jewelry, entertainment, celebrations, etc. These products and services enrich people's lives while also helping support a diverse, active local economy.

We support all Kiva borrowers, with a focus on entrepreneurs who specialize in bringing extra enjoyment to their communities through creative enterprises.
