We loan because...
The working artist is the best example of what it means to live the American Dream. While ten thousand professional artists graduate from University programs each year, few find jobs in their profession. Fewer still, have learned little about the business of art. Our goal is fill that gap between school and career, between hobby and profession. Every other nation in the world supports their artisans export efforts to sell in the US market. In American, the smallest businesses receive less than 1/6 of 1% of SBA funding. We make small loans to artists that help them develop a body of work and prepare to launch their studio art business beyond their local community.
