We loan because...
Fairbanks is the Golden Heart City of Alaska, together we can make a difference in the world.

This group was created by 6 dedicated Honors students in Sherri Wall's Honor's Econ Class with the hopes of seeing how far the funds raised at a two day bakesale could go, their 150 dollars will never be withdrawn from Kiva and who knows where it will end up?

In the spirit of giving and the with the heart of a Nanook please consider how far your 25 dollars can go.

Update: $25 has gone quite far! Nearly 1,000 loans have been made as of this update. Nanooks are making a HUGE difference in the world. The golden heart of Fairbanks has consistently put us in the top 3 contributing University/College communities!

About us
UAF is America's Arctic University with students, staff and alumni from all over the world. UAF is a family of artists, whether in research or liberal arts, Nanooks are changing the world.
