About me:
When a gay couple, David and Charlie went into a bakery in Denver in 2012 to order a wedding cake, they didn’t know they would end up in a court battle with the baker. In February 2019, Anna and Amanda, a lesbian couple tried to arrange a wedding photographer and ended up on the six o’clock news.... “Sometimes it seems like we are still living in the dark ages. But now there is THEAPP” Until now it was a gamble! A gay person, or person of color never knew when they walked into a merchant's business what they were going to be confronted with. The merchant could be open, honest, respectful and everything can go right. Unfortunately, the merchants can be biased, homophobic, or just plain crazy and things can go south and get very ugly. Traveling or at home, LGBTQ leisure time should be SAFE time.
