Bendia 27 (1) Group's story

The 'Bendia 27 (1)' Group has just finished their first Kiva loan, the repayments were all made on time. Kotimi is the group representative is very grateful to all the lenders and support organisations. Her loan enabled her to buy cereals (maize, beans and millet) for sale. Her profits were used to buy clothing for her children, provide for some of the expenses of the family and improve her business.

Kotimi is requesting this new loan to continue her business. This time, cereal prices in Burkina are much lower so Kotimi will buy stock, store it and sell it later. Her profits will be used to improve her business.
