A loan of $2,400 helped a member to buy bales of second hand clothes to sell.

Takondwa Group's story

Alinafe previously took a loan from MLF. She used the loan to expand her business by purchasing different commodities for her shop. This helped her to increase her returns, and she is now able to pay school and medical bills for her children. She greatly thanks Kiva for helping her to improve her family's living standards

Alinafe is now planning to diversify her businesses, as this will help her to have different sources of funds. As such she would like to obtain another loan in order to buy bales of second hand clothes. She decided on this business since its profitable and it's also highly demanded in her area. She plans on sending her children to university and hopes to move in the city in the coming years.
