Kous is a 39-year-old business woman who lives in Sanniquille, the capital City of Nimba County, which is rich in natural resources. The living conditions are much better than the capital city and it is the second largest populated county in Liberia. Kou stopped her education in the 9th grade before establishing her business. Kou is married with 4 children between the ages of 11 and 20. Her four children are in school and live at home. For 20 years, she has been running a small shop in the local market selling slippers and used clothes. She spends 8 hours each day on her business. She is requesting a loan to purchase more slippers and used clothes for her business. Her plan is to build a house for her children.
