A loan of $1,000 helped buy a jig saw and raw materials, such as wood and paint.

Abadias Antonio's story

Abadías lives in a common-law marriage and has six children. He is a professional woodworker; some time ago he learned how to make traditional toys, such as tops, rackets, bows, and yoyos. He began his business with $30,000 in capital. He started by traveling to other cities to offer his services as an advisory and instructor of traditional toys. This currently demands a great deal of raw materials, thanks to the warm reception that his toys have received in various schools and institutions in the city.

Abadías' goal is to buy a jig saw, which will reduce the time he needs to create his items, and also to acquire more raw materials at wholesale. Many of his customers order extras at various competitive events, and acquiring these things will help him meet his customers' demands. He is passionate and very responsible in the work that he does. Abadías also wants to improve his business and enjoy greater profitability for his entire family.
