A loan of $1,000 helped to buy farm supplies for her coffee crop.

Glendy Merary's story

Glendy, 30, is a single mother and a hard-working entrepreneur who travels by bus to her place of work which is about 200 kilometers from home. This is so she can provide for her daughter who attends school. Glendy works as a factory operator and her brother takes care of maintaining and providing technical assistance to the coffee crop while she is working. She completed her primary education and her mother and brother live with her at home. Her mother is the one who taught her about agriculture some time ago. Glendy and her brother own the land since they inherited from their mother's family.

Her dream for the future is to get a university degree corresponding to her agricultural knowledge. This will help her improve production and technical aspects of her crop growing since it is the main source of income for her and her family. She is requesting a loan through COMIXMUL to buy six bags of Nutricafe, six bags of Formula 18-46-0, six bags of urea, six bags of fertilizer and two liters of ALTO 10 SL. These products will help her crop produce a good harvest.
