Anwar is a 47-year-old married man and father of five children. He has been working in the transportation business for 20 years, to make sure his family has a good standard of living. In 2011, he started his own business, bought a bus of his own, and started providing this service.

Anwar works as an accountant, too, as an additional income business to make sure he is capable of properly meeting his family's needs.

Anwar's business is improving since his customers are recommending him to others because of the trust they have towards him and because of his good reputation. That's why he bought another bus, to accommodate the increased number of students requesting his service. To provide this service properly, Anwar has to register the new bus, and start working on it. In this way, he can serve new customers and provide someone he trusts with a new job as a bus driver.

He applied for a loan from Kiva's partner, Al Majmoua, to pay for legal registration fees.
