Flenda's story

Flenda is 51 years old, a mother of four children who are 11, 13, 15 and 20 years old respectively. She is from Eregi Location in Vihiga County which is located in the western part of Kenya. She is married to Moris who is a businessman.

She is a fish monger, a business she has been doing for the last 17 years. She makes a monthly income of KES. 20,000. She is taking her second loan with KADET LTD, which she will use to purchase more fish to sell. She will use her anticipated profit to plough back into the business.

Her hopes are to provide for her family with a better future and to become a successful business lady.
