A loan of $200 helped to buy crates of beverages for her store.

Maria's story

María is 48 years old. She is a humble woman. She was widowed 24 years ago and since then has taken care of her 4 children She only lives with 3 of them now in her house, which she bought 5 years ago.

Despite the fact that her children are grown and have made their own families, she still lives with them, because she always dreamed of raising her granddaughters. Her main economic activity is raising cattle. She has 5 cows from which she extracts milk which she sells to her neighbors who know how delicious the milk is that her animals produce. They buy from her every day. She also raises sheep and chickens for her own consumption, but she says that if she runs into any setback she sells them fattened up for the market. But the activity that helped her raise her children alone is the embroidery of traditional skirts that she sells at a good price, since it takes a long time to finish the embroidery. Now she makes an average of one a month, because she doesn't have as much need as she did before. Right now she wants to live for a long time to see her granddaughters grow and to watch over her family. She belongs to the “Los Emprendedores” group, and this is her sixth loan with MFP. She is grateful for your support. With it, she will be able to achieve her goals. She promises to make her payments and she likes being a part of her association, because they have known each other for many years.

María will invest the money she has asked for in buying crates of beverages for her store and if there is enough she will buy balanced feed for her animals.
