A loan of $575 helped to buy various liters of milk in order to continue producing more cheeses.

Alecsander's story

Alecsander, age 49, is married to Blanca. They have two children, who are now independent.

He and his wife share the work. She gets up very early in order to tend to their food store. Meanwhile, he picks up liters of milk from the cattle farmers in the area. They use the milk to make cheeses. They make an average of 490 cheeses a week. They transport the cheeses to the wholesale merchants in the capital of the country.

He likes his work a lot. Thanks to this he was able to get his car and some motorcycles, which help in transporting the milk to the city. His town is two hours from the city. He now wishes to increase his production and industrialize the process. At this time the cheese is made by hand.

This is his first loan with MFP. He pledges to continue making his payments punctually. He really likes working with his group because they teach him how to manage his money.
