A loan of $1,125 helped to buy clothes.

Luisa's story

Luisa, 48, is married to Eleazar, 52, and they have two children; they live in their own house in Llochegua District. Luisa is a woman who has been selling clothes for a long time. She relates that at the beginning she sold door to door and sometimes took advantage of the street markets in nearby towns until she managed to save up capital to build her house which is where she now sells her garments much more comfortably. She usually works with help from her beloved husband who to this day continues selling in some of the street markets while Luisa is in charge of buying stock merchandise in the capital.

She is happy with the business because thanks to it she was able to reach many of her dreams but she still has much more to accomplish. Later on she’s thinking about continuing with her business because she’s doing very well in everything although in winter access roads become so difficult due to nature's inclemency and shipping costs increase.

This is her second MFP loan so she’s committed to make her installment payments punctually. Luisa is very cheerful about having such a solid communal bank with good members. She will use the 3000 new soles to buy more articles of clothing.
