A loan of $2,350 helped a member to buy spare parts and tools for a motorcycle repair business.

Shahnaz's Group's story

Shahnaz has applied for a loan from KIVA partner Asasah for her eldest son’s motorbike repair shop. With the loan investment, he will purchase spare parts and tools to provide better-quality repair services to his customers. He has good technical skills, and his clients trust his quality services. Shahnaz is hopeful that a loan investment will help her son to earn more profits by improving his business. She is a housewife, who stays at home and does her household responsibilities. She has given birth to 3 sons and 3 daughters. Her second son is illiterate while the other four children are getting their education. Her husband is a driver and provides transport services to his passengers. Note: In the photo, the lady holding a book (called the Asasah Passbook) is Shahnaz.
