A loan of $1,075 helped to buy a new motor for his school mini-bus.

Emilson Alexander's story

Emilson, age 33, has been married for ten years. His wife works in a factory as a laborer. He lives in La Lima Cortes. They have two children; ages eight and nine. The children go to school.

Emilson has had a mini-bus for eight years. He uses to bus to provide school transportation. He transports children to elementary schools and high schools. He has this business because his children had trouble finding transportation to go to school. He then decided to provide the transportation, and he has fixed customers.

He will use the loan to repair his mini-bus. He will change the motor so that it does not continue to break down. Then he will provide better service. He gets the income he needs for the household and his children’s education from this business.
