María Rosario belongs to the Nueva Esperanza de Ollantaytambo communal bank, and the meetings of the bank members are every month in the city of Ollantaytambo, in the province of Urubamba, department of Cusco.

María Rosario, 29, is married and has one child from this relationship. She was born in Ollantaytambo and lives in her native city, where she carries out her business. Her main economic activity is selling food, and she has a restaurant for tourists in her home. In the morning she serves breakfast to tourists, at noon she serves lunch to tourists and locals, and at night she makes pizza. She has had this business for a year now and it's going very well for her, thanks to the effort she puts into her work.
