We are Jon and Jess, a husband-and-wife team who love doing life together. From a young age, our parents taught us the value of hard work, integrity, and compassion for others. These lessons continue to guide our family, our business, and the way we raise our four children.

Our passion for creating, serving, and making a meaningful impact led us into the ethical retail sales field in 2018. Over the years, we have seen how meaningful employment can transform the lives of survivors of trafficking, refugees, and other marginalized individuals. This includes a trip to a workshop in Bolivia where we witnessed first-hand the transformative power of dignified work for survivors of trafficking. Experiences like this inspired us to launch A Beautiful Calling in 2024. Our boutique connects conscious consumers with ethically made products that support artisans around the world, creating dignity, opportunity, and hope.

Today, we are building a purpose-driven, for-profit business rooted in the belief that business can be a sustainable force for good. We are committed to fostering community while teaching and equipping others locally and globally. Our goal is to grow in a way that expands our reach and impact, supporting more individuals, families, and communities through meaningful job creation.
