Baraka Kanouya Group

Barka kanouya has finished using its first loan from Kiva. The payments were made in time. Sophie is the new member representative, and she is 44 years old and mother of 6 children. She sells fish, and has been doing so for 15 years. She thanks the personnel and the lenders from Kiva for the support.

With this loan, she was able to pay for the red sorghum to make her local drink to sell. She had a profit which enabled her to pay for clothes for her children, and to make a few purchases for her family, and most importantly, to improve her business. 

She still needs loans to continue her business. She wants to purchase sorghum to satisfy her customers.
