Nayely Maria

Nayely Maria's story

Nayeli María and her family live in Rocafuerte. It is well known both locally and beyond for its traditional handmade sweets, made using recipes passed down from generation to generation, as well as for its rice farming.

Nayeli is a hardworking young woman who, after completing her university studies, now works with her mother making and selling a variety of delicious and special dishes in their business. In addition, she makes exquisite handmade sweets such as sponge cakes, cookies, traditional candies, macaroons, and ice cream, which are usually sold by special order. These products are delivered to customers’ homes or, at times, personally delivered. She also sells stainless steel costume jewelry.

Nayeli is deeply grateful for the constant support she receives, which allows her to always provide the best for her family.

She will use this loan to buy earrings, chains, bracelets, jewelry sets (of chains and earrings), anklets, milk, sugar, flavorings, molds and disposable containers, among other materials.
