Karen Melissa

Hi all! My name is Karen, I am 42 years old and originally from Honduras. I moved to the United States eight years ago because of safety concerns in my home country. When I first arrived, I lived with my sister in Maryland, where I worked for a few months in a restaurant and later in cleaning jobs.

After three years, my sister and I decided to move to Pittsburgh for better economic opportunities. In Pittsburgh, I continued working in cleaning services. Eventually, I decided to start working independently because I wanted more control over my work and the way I serve my clients.

I am motivated by the desire to grow, provide stability for my family, and build something of my own. Last year, at the end of 2025, I officially registered my cleaning company, which was a very important step for me. I am passionate about my work and committed to continuing to grow my business and serve my community
