Mary Grace's story
Mary Grace resides in the province of Iloilo. She is 44 years old and married. She and her husband earn their livelihood through fishing, a trade they have been engaged in for 11 years.
Currently, Mary Grace is seeking a loan of PHP 50,000 through Kiva’s field partner, CEVI, a microfinance NGO in the Philippines. She will use the loan to purchase an engine and plywood for their fishing boat.
Mary Grace aspires to improve and sustain their livelihood in the future, with the goal of achieving a better standard of living for her family.
