Amira's story

Amira is a 29-year-old married woman and a mother of four children.  She lives with her family and her husband’s family in a small rural village.  Amira runs a construction materials business, while her husband works as an employee.  However, the family’s total income has not been sufficient to cover all their living expenses.  At the beginning, Amira started with a small construction materials project.  After receiving several loans from the association, she was able to significantly expand her business, increase her profits, and consistently repay all her installments on time without any delays.

Today, Amira manages a well-developed business, marketing and distributing a wide range of construction materials.  With her husband, she supplies these materials wholesale to small contractors and local traders.  Due to the recent growth in construction activities, Amira is requesting a loan renewal of 222,000 EGP.  She has used the loan to purchase large quantities of iron and cement to meet the increasing demand in her area.  This loan will help her further expand her business, increase her income, support her children’s education, and ensure that her family’s basic needs are fully met.
