Jose Roberto's story
Fifty-two year old José only attended first grade in school. His partner is a tailor. His children no longer depend on him; he continues to work to improve his living conditions.
José has been working construction for about 25 years, after being trained by a friend. He commutes on a motorcycle from his house to the different worksites where he provides his services. His workday is from 7:00 am till 4:00 pm, working consistently as this is his main source of income.
José will use the loan to purchase new tools and a compressor which will improve production and make him work more efficiently.
José wants to keep working and build up his business in order to improve his financial situation and maintain a better quality of life through his effort and dedication.
