Thuỷ

Thuỷ is 49 years old and lives in Minh Sơn Commune. She is from an ethnic minority group in Vietnam. Her two children are working far from home, and she stays in the village to take care of her grandchildren. To support her family, she often takes on temporary local jobs while managing her household responsibilities.

She has more than 14 years of experience in farming. Her family is classified as a near-poor household in the local community. She is applying for her fifth loan from Thanh Hóa MFI to invest in acacia tree planting by purchasing more seedlings and organic fertilizer. This activity helps her create additional income and contribute to supporting her children and grandchildren. Previous loans have helped her family gradually improve their living conditions.

Her main difficulty is the lack of transportation, which makes her daily work and business activities more challenging. In the future, she hopes her family will remain healthy and happy, that she can repair her house, and that she will be able to save some money to prepare for unexpected risks such as illness or unemployment.
