Rafael Ernesto's story
Rafael completed his schooling up to the ninth grade; he is married, and his wife is a homemaker. He has a son who is currently a student and is financially dependent on him.
Rafael works in agriculture, specifically in the cultivation and sale of papayas. He has over two years of experience in this field, having learned the trade from his father. He travels four kilometers from his home to the plot of land where his crops are grown. He works Monday through Saturday, from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.; additionally, he spends his afternoons selling his harvest within his local community. Prior to this, he worked as an auto mechanic.
He intends to use the loan to purchase fertilizers and pay for agricultural labor to maintain his papaya crop, with the hope of securing a bountiful harvest.
Rafael dreams of doubling his earnings and improving his family's quality of life.
