Edwin Orlando
A loan of $1,000 helps to purchase fertilizers and herbicides, and to pay for agricultural labor for the maintenance of his loroco crop.

Edwin Orlando's story
Edwin is 38 years old and completed his education up to the eighth grade. He is in a relationship, and his partner is a homemaker. He has a daughter who is currently a student and depends on him for support.
Edwin works in agriculture, specifically cultivating and selling loroco. He has over five years of experience in this field, having learned the trade from his parents. He travels three kilometers by bicycle from his home to the plot of land where his crops are grown, working Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Occasionally, his partner assists him with the work. Previously, he worked as a mason's assistant.
He intends to use the loan to purchase fertilizers and herbicides, as well as to pay for agricultural labor needed to maintain his loroco crop, through which he hopes to secure a bountiful harvest.
Edwin dreams of tripling his loroco production in order to improve his family's quality of life.
