Maria Esperanza

Maria Esperanza's story

Esperanza went to school through high school. She is currently in a relationship and has a daughter who is only a few months old. She lives with her partner and her daughter in her home where they share family life and home responsibilities.

Esperanza is a homemaker, but also works raising and selling fowl, a job that she has done for many years. She decided to start this work due to financial difficulty that she faced in the past. With time it has become one of the primary sources of income for her family. The corral where she raises the birds is found on one side of her house which allows her to care for them with ease. In this work she also has the support of her mother, who helps her in feeding the fowl.

With the loan, Esperanza plans to purchase feed and more fowl with the goal to increase production and increase sales.

Esperanza dreams of improving her living conditions and continuing to support her family, trusting that her dedication and effort will allow her to reach a better future.
