A loan of $1,000 helps to pay for labor to prepare the land, and to buy some necessary supplies for planting.

Roberto Alexander's story
Roberto is 26 years old and attended school through high school. At present he is in a relationship, and his partner works as a domestic employee. He has two children and works every day to provide them with better opportunities.
For about the past seven years, Roberto has worked as a day laborer in his community. His workday begins at 6:00a.m. and ends around 10:00 a.m. He learned his trade thanks to his father's teachings.
He also works in agriculture and raises cattle, as can be seen in the photograph. This work enables him to generate additional income for his family.
The loan will be used to pay for labor to prepare the land, and to buy some necessary supplies for planting 1.5 hectares of corn.
Roberto dreams of seeing his children grow up healthy and financially stable. He believes that agriculture and raising livestock provide opportunities to improve his income and better his family's well being.
